Those shadowy figures are kinda creepy. Like... are they about to kidnap Superman because he's so much smaller than them?

I have so many questions about this image that needs an answer. Why does Superman (The Man of Steel) who can fly faster than a speeding bullet, powerful than a locomotive, and leap tall buildings, have to take a subway train to other locations of the city? Is there a no fly zone in Metropolis?

And more importantly, WHY IS HE SO SMALL??????? HAUHEUAHUUEHA

Apparently, the original Japanese version had the Superman theme song. I guess they weren't able to secure the rights to that song for the American release. I dunno.
