Eh, I'm taking this with an entire shaker of salt. TV Asahi specifically refusing to talk about future programming plans likely means that they have something "different" in mind, but confirming or denying a cancellation would reveal their plans too early. If they were actually cancelling it, they'd probably just go ahead and say they were, because if nothing else it would drum up ratings for the last stretch of the final season as people tune in for the end of a historic series.
That said, insider leaks have been saying for a while that the series is in for a "soft reboot" after this season, which is kind of hinted at in the plot anyway. They've been doing wilder and wilder things with new seasons for the last 6-7 years anyway, breaking traditional formulas, going against typical design standards, and other things that kind of push the limits of what Super Sentai has always been.
This latest season is basically setting up a universal reset (even though there wasn't any actual continuity anyway), and lots of fans have speculated that relaunching under a new brand name (like Shin Super Sentai or something) would allow them to go really crazy with the formula, create new traditions for the brand going forward, *and* untangle the newly branded series from Hasbro's Power Rangers rights and whatnot. That kind of freedom would mean they could seek out a new partner for international adaptations, or simply go for global distribution as-is to make more money off the franchise directly, especially given the rise in popularity of anime, foreign TV and the like due to streaming services.
Sensationalizing the idea that the franchise is "ending" when we don't have official confirmation in any way, shape, or form is just going to cause internet drama and undue panic from people who don't read any further than the headline. If and when TV Asahi confirms the franchise is dead and not being renewed or rebranded, then I'll care. As-is this is just pointless rumors that fans of the franchise have been speculating about for months now, along with insider information indicating that a rebrand was probably on the horizon.
