Just found out this news recently, but apparently even the actors and directors were in disbelief that the franchise was ending, so to speculate the franchise different outcomes, what would you choose?

Probably they’re going on an indefinite hiatus as what they did with the Kamen Rider series in the ‘90s as the pushed for more Metal Heroes back then.

Update: From what I read (due to japanese news sites reporting it) its because they can no longer justify the production, because for some time, the profit is lower than the production costs

Wow. They got to nearly 50 seasons though, I think? Still a good effort, considering. I haven't seen nearly as much of it as I'd like, but I have seen a few of the more recent seasons, and a few here and there otherwise.

Maybe it's time to start working my way through the rest?

I haven't followed Sentai in a very long time (probably Kyuranger?) and while it is indeed sad that such a prolific franchise is coming to an end, hopefully it'll just be a long sleep and refresh for the series

Maybe they might consider reviving Metal Heroes? I mean they've teased us with a bunch of reimaginings in the past through Kamen Rider and Sentai

They should have made more games based on sentai. I got into some just because I played a game based on some series. (As well as metal heroes and kamen riders)

Classic Sentai (80's through early 00's) is my honest to goodness sweet spot (Bioman, Maskman, Flashman, Dairanger, Kakuranger, Gingaman, and GogoV being my all-time faves) . I think I liked Zyougher and Kyuranger because of how much they felt like the older stuff (though I'm sure Nobu from Akibaranger would have something to say about such an assessment)

I doubt it, BUT i do know they get their funding selling toys....means if you want to keep watching, start buying.

A couple of years ago the writing staff of Kamen Rider and Super Sentai switched, it seemed promising at first, but IDK. Sentai has really gone down hill, it used to be an all-ages program like Kamen Rider (though KR skews a bit older), but a lot of the shows have seemed intensely kiddie

I hope it means a significant decrease in otaku culture so Japan can finally produce sane animes, mangas and video games to get real and actually create something sane people would be interested in lolol. Just to satisfy otakus they ruined their whole entertainment industry, even good old series TBH. For example One Piece started as pirate fun and last time I watched it turned into a sexual fetish over animals SMH.
