So I had an urging in my mind to play SRW V as I had discovered the power of the Vita3K emulator. I mean, I had other ways of playing the game, PS4 via Singapore account, Switch CFW, PS Vita (CFW/Real Hardware), but I wanted to know if I actually could play the game on Vita3K. It booted up and I let the demo play, but something was missing. The Premium Sound Edition patch. Who knew copying and pasting worked out for the best.

While I was content to have pieces in place to play SRW V, there was a feeling that I would be annoyed by how slow the game ran compared to the other versions. It turned out that OpenGL, while functional was akin to running on low frames yet everything was in sync. I switched to Vulkan and saw things improve drastically. But I kept running the demo scenes (The stuff that runs if you let it sit at the title screen or main menu for a bit) before I could start playing in earnest. Just in case things went south.

My specs are simple (too simple as I bought this PC in 2020 to replace my 1070)

Intel i7 (11th gen)
Nvidia GeForce 3080
48GB RAM

Yeah despite still being experimental, Vita3k is a really great Vita emulator
Most of the games I've played have become playable too like Unit13

I dunno what you guys have done to play these games so well, but almost all of the ones I downloaded don't work on Vita3K. Only Dragon's Crown, IA/VT, Dead Or Alive 5 and Xtreme Beach 3 actually ran perfectly

Which device are you playing at?

Depends on the device. The PC version is much more compatible than the android app.

Why did you speak for me?? I downloaded the emulator on my Windows 10 PC

I do admit that the post was clickbait-ish. I tested out SRW V briefly but I wasn't able to find a good place to get the zips of SRW Z3.1 and Z3.2 as well as SRW X. Once I get those, I should post some screenshots and report the results. But I'll keep things at Vulkan because I've rather have the smooth action over the synced stutter

Sorting things out, letting the pipelines compile.

Some small things, I've noticed that the voices are muffled a bit. It reminds me of the Saturn ports of some Neo Geo games where there was muffled voices but otherwise the music (that wasn't arranged for some games) was intact.

It is what it is, still pretty impressive though
