Super Mario Bros. Wonderland '87 is a fan game that portrays Super Mario Bros. Wonder in a different way. It's as if the game was released around 1987 after SMB. Lost Levels and before Super Mario Bros. 3. The story is completely different from the original game.

Blue Bowser (Bowser's brother who only appears in the Lost Levels) is making a big mess in the Flower Kingdom. He wants to be as mean as Bowser having a kingdom just for him. Next to the big villain is Blue Bowser Jr. his son and together they try to stop the Mario Brothers from proceeding. The fan game contains secret worlds if you collect all the Wonder Seeds in all the worlds.

This fan game captures an atmosphere similar to that of Super Mario Bros. Lost Levels and also Super Mario Bros. 3. It contains many secrets and, at times, puzzles to solve.

Bellabel Rescuers: Based on "Super Mario Bros. Wonder - Nintendo Switch 2 Edition + Bellabel Park", the Bellabel Chellenge is now Super Mario Bros. Bellabel Rescuers! It differs from the official Switch 2 version by focusing on single-player and challenges. You need to rescue 7 Bellabel Flowers from the Koopalings in a NEW adventure.

More in depth information can be found by pressing F1 when the game starts.

Here is another fan game created using Game Maker Studio. This time a reimagining/demake of Super Mario Bros. Wonder. This is pretty well made and does a good job of being a "what if Wonder was released on NES" kind of idea.

Like the Shantae and Asha fan game also made with Game Maker Studio, this game lacks any sort of controller/gamepad support. You'll need to use a button remap tool such as AntiMicroX or do that thing using Steam.

Does anyone else not hear music with this game?
Try installing OpenAL (the bottom link) This game uses it to process audio. Not having it installed is the only thing I can think of that would cause it not to have audio output. I've had OpenAL installed on my laptop for years since I have a decent amount of apps and games that require it. If that doesn't fix it then try making sure directx and visual c++ are both updated on your system (but I doubt that would have any effect with this). The game has worked fine for me ever since I first found it on Gamejolt. I'm not sure why some users aren't getting the audio to work

Got to play this for a few seconds and there's no sound.
Make sure you don't have any apps that have exclusive control over your audio driver running. I use MusicBee for an audio player and have it set to use Wasapi Exclusive output. It takes over the audio and makes it so that nothing else has sound when it's running. I have RetroArch using it too. So I've accidentally freaked out before thinking one of my PC games didn't have working sound but it was just that I had one of those apps running in the background taking over the audio output.

Either that or maybe you need to install OpenAL (the bottom link) since Game Maker Studio games use it for audio output. I'd assume you wouldn't need to have it installed for it to work, but I don't know since I've always had OpenAL installed on my laptop since I have programs that use it. I dunno what would be causing your issue, the game plays audio just fine for me.

This is cute!
Would love to see it on OG NES (if that's even possible).

Finally this beauty got a release, I'm hoping that the other fan games he's making gets also, they look gold.
I was gonna say to check out the source link since it had a bunch of other games in that 40th Anniversary Pack where I got the file for this post from, but all of them are demos except for two of them being complete but not developed by the same person as this game. I'll have to look into the other games he's working on
