The hack better described as a port.
Every fan of SMB needs to check this one out. The freaky Hudson interpretation of Mario made better on the NES!

When I saw this I was thinking there was an update. Glad to see the 35th anniversary ed it still good on the 40th anniversary.

35 years later, the entire Super Mario community made the best version of Super Mario Bros. Special for the FC/NES version, and it is also more polished and much better executed than the original Sharp X1 and NEC PC-88 versions.
