Super Mario 64 for the Sega Dreamcast This is an update to the original 2020 mrneo240 Dreamcast port of Super Mario 64. It addresses the audio-visual issues that were present and adds VMU saving. SOURCE: https://github.com/jnmartin84/sm64-dc

Plays completely fine until the end. played through it all in two sittings, only "bugs" i encountered were the slider music, which had a few notes off and a bit of slowdown on some parts. Other than that, it plays in a consistent 30 fps (with some dips in bigger areas, like the rainbow ride level.) great port.
credits will not show though, it'll just repeat the final bowser fight again and again.

This port is nowhere near finished and it would be nice if if Spike would state this. Most of the new ports for Dreamcast like Starfox 64 and this one, Mario 64 are in the early stages of release. These are not FINAL builds. Everyday there are new updates and changes made by the dev. As far as Emulator play goes, it plays without screeching on Demul. I imagine eventually the sound issue will disappear and we will get a proper burnable .cdi release of the game. As it stands, this release is more intended for a true Dreamcast with a GDEMU. The sad part of posting these ports on this site now, is that they don't seem to get updated often, if ever once posted. IMO it is too early in this ports release stages to properly judge the dev's work and changes. Please give it time, and Spike update the posted D/L links periodically to show the improvements made over time.
postings for translations/port/undubs get updated frequently on this site, not sure what you mean. Usually it's when a more substantial update such as this gets released.

Loud static instead of music on redream. Plays beautifully though and can't wait to see this finished.

This is great. Can you please upload the most updated version of the port for the PS2?

I'm getting nothing but static noises instead of normal sound using the ir-flycast emulator. is there a fix for this sound issue?
This is the issue I had when I compiled the CDI myself. According to the dev that worked on this, it's not intended to be emulated, but used on actual Dreamcast hardware.. So don't expect a fix in the audio department anytime soon emulation-wise 😔

This is really cool! I had trouble running it on emulator though. The game itself runs fine on Flycast and Redream (no frame dips, no control issues, game looks great), but in both cases I get a horrible, constant screeching noise. If I use Redream's HLE bios I get a low humming noise instead.

After doing a bit of research, it looks like this issue had to do with MMU support (on Flycast, in any case... presumably this is the same issue on Redream). The issue was brought up on the Flycast Github, and it has since been addressed. This port looks and sounds fine on the latest dev release of Flycast, which you can get here. The audio fix hasn't been carried over to the stable build yet at the time that I write this.

Happy gaming, everyone!

This Port came from another universe where nintendo dies and now their games are on dreamcast, ps2 and xbox original.
nah but... as there's some Nintendo collabs like F-Zero GX and Rhythm Heaven got a Naomi release, I can see this from a universe where Nintendo decided release some N64 and Gamecube games in Dreamcast just to help the console's sales and a thanks to Sega for the collabs

Anyone can upload the PS1 version?
I think the PS1 version is broken and unplayable as it is right now. :( And I tried to build it, with no luck, got a generic error when compiling. :/ Let's hope they continue the development so we can play it on the PS1, which should be pretty amazing if you think of it.

I feel certain envy seeing Dreamcast getting some N64 native ports like this one and Doom 64, I would like to see the same for PSP.
And although I know there is one for Mario 64, after trying it, the port is simply too raw and glitchy to be comfortable to play.
the PlayStation 3 could use some love too, i'm surprised no one bothered to at least do Zelda Ocarina of Time and/or Mario Kart 64

Though at least the Nintendo Switch gotten alot of love with the N64 PC ports

This isn't the issue, when google updated the system to Android 12 it locked access, many emulators broke compatibility, developer mode does not help either, this is a well known issue, several emulators updated to added support or a work around but the Redream guys seemed very uninterested, they basically told me to get lost, lol, it is ironic how Apple opened up and Android closed down, emulation on Apple devices couldn't be easier.
Oh, I hadn't any idea

I mean, you can search "Redream APK" or something or you cannot downloading it anymore?

Same, however it runs on flycast core via retroarch but still with the static noises.

Same, but also I'd like the DC port of Sonic Mania tbh https://github.com/michael-fadely/Sonic-Mania-Decompilation/tree/sf94/dreamcast-kallistios

Btw I do have the 3DS and PS Bita ports if both SM64 and Sonic Mania, even the Wii and WiiU versions.
