This is cool but where is the G&G hack where you play as a blue haired scantily armor clad girl that looks like she jumped out of a Dragon Quest game?

That's the infamous akira toriyama blue-haired chichi looking hack. The Japanese guy posts YouTube videos about it and never shares a link with anyone ever. He ignores all requests for links or IPS patches. That one is the big mystery. I tried to find it like everyone else by translating the Japanese text into English. But i had no luck.

Good luck to you. Hopefully you do find it but I have tried some of the Older maiden hacks and they are buggy some of the time at least. Honestly you're probably better off with this one because at least this guy gives a crap about his own hack and updates to get rid of the bugs. I know the blue-haired one at least works because I've watched him sit there and demo it. But no one can ever find it.

On one hand it's nice to see support and updates, on the other hand it kinda gets annoying every two weeks a new minor update is released, if you do consider tackling the Genesis version as well good luck with the updates, this will be your full time job, updating Ghouls and Maidens Rom hack pages.

It seems this update only adds level select? I mean is nice but I think I'm good, I'll check again later when another (hopefully bigger) update is released.

I was about to say the level select doesn't work but I just realized there is a trick to it. You have to go to the options menu first and highlight the word exit. THEN press L+Start.

Ok, my take on the versions is this: Arcade, genesis, and sharp x68000 were similar. You could use your weapon forward and up as well. The ground stayed the same, and the enemies on level 1 were wearing blue cloaks. SNES and GBA you could only throw your weapon forward. Enemies were wearing blue tshirts and pants. The directional weapon limitation is not good.

It's pretty annoying, I won't deny, but sometimes it's what happens with popular hacks.

I forgot to say that version 2.1 includes the uncensor patch, so I didn't bother messing with the restoration patch. I think it looks great, but I wish my skill was better. I'm the exact opposite of those guys who post the no damage videos. On rare occasion I actually make it to level 2.

This is an excellent hack and the new version has a lot of updates (2.0). With that said it is also no longer compatible with the restoration patch. I tried to apply the patches myself. But both of them just updated only 4 days apart. I'm hoping they come out with some kind of compatibility patch.

Now this is more like it:P now this is what you call a Defenitive New Revised verision of the Maiden Edition Rom hack,seriously,this is defentially one of the Best Rom hacks ive seen since both "Roll Chan" and "Tina's Aventure Island" im so gonna download this now and give this a try,because this game in general deserves a second playthrough:P
