Yes I can verify this works. I applied the restoration patch first and this patch right on top of it. Thank you for mentioning this also.

I can also confirm, I did this two weeks ago, works great.

I think it's worth mentioning that this hack is compatible with the "Restoration" hack (Look at the crosses). Just patch it on top of this and you're good to go!

I played the original version of this Hack by poody and Jamal that was released on romhacking(dot)net and liked it a lot. I see that this version improved the sprites/animations a lot and added more variety in outfits.

But one thing the original hack failed to do was to actually change the very sparse text the game has, aka the part where the princess talks to Arthur and calls him by name for example. This was the only immersion breaking part, so I wonder if this hack has fixed that?

I'm probably in the minority, but I never liked either name. Maybe if the Japanese name were Dracula no Akumajou, then it would make more sense.

I'm that weirdo who kinda prefers the western name, even if it's cheesy, despite that I'm from Asia though, lol.

I liked the last art that was on this Maiden Edition hack, but I like the new box art also. Maybe its just me, but I feel she has a slight resemblance to Maria Renard with the blond hair and outfit. Excellent artwork!

Thanks for mentioning! I didnt realize it was censored, but not surprised. Ive seen censorship also in Castlevania, dbz, and other things. It always seems to be about gods, devils, demons, crosses, swearing, etc. Like akumajou dracula x is demon castle dracula. Maybe they are just trying to not offend, but I'm not sure.

Honestly, "Akumajou Dracula" just sounds way cooler than "Castlevania".

Hey, thanks for pointing it out! I really like mixing hacks when possible to get the best experience possible. Ideally this would be compatible with Super Arthur.
