I found this in my junk drawer, and I thought it'd be fun to share because, well, it's such a product of its time and not something you're likely to ever see again. Plus, I kind of appreciate getting this on the actual mail at some point during my teens.

“Super Byte” had one goal and one goal only: rescuing people from the hellscape that was unreliable dial-up internet and instead taking them to... the hellscape that was Telefonica broadband internet (trust me, I suffered through both — the only reason to ever choose one over the other was the fact that Telefonica’s didn’t hold your phone line hostage while you used it).

It's so wonderfully unhinged and such an early-aughts experience that you simply can't help but laugh along with it through its overhyped, barely concealed advertisement.

Enjoy XD

That's so gnarly, the style takes me back to simpler, much more unprofessional times ::linkmouthcover
Imagine someone bothering to do a comic to advertise his business nowadays...

I'd un-ironically read it, just for the "A for effort" factor, but yeah... Most of my junk mail doesn't even have pictures anymore.

Very cool....

Though, that reminds me of those awful knockoff Christian comics some of the hardcore Bible thumpers here used to hand out to anyone going in or out of the gas station. I always took one on the way out and made sure they saw me wad it up and toss it in the trash. I was a bratty teen

Haha, I think we have all had that rebellious streak as teens — I used to wad up my failed tests and throw them on people's windshield wipers XD

You know what's funny to me? There was never a Super Byte #2, so they were fully committing to keep you interested in... Nothing at all XD

Oh, I'm not going to. I just thought it suited the context.
