This ones really cool! Solid game! Wish it got a sequel. Still hoping. With the Ninja Gaiden and Shinobi stuff coming out. One can dream.

replayed this just a couple weeks ago after realizing it had been 9 years since my last run. did a pretty quick playthrough totalling about 2h40m to finally get the achievement for completing in under 4 hours but i may go back again sooner than another near decade for 100%

i think outside of the final boss's kinda terrible gravity gimmick this is honestly still one of my favourite games ever. it's not as free range as some other metroidvanias but the movement and simple but pattern heavy combat and downright insane aggression it rewards with the rapid attack combos is so exhilarating. can't recommend enough

got this on Steam along with as many 2D platformer reboots as I could possibly find years ago n am happy with most of them but love lil indie ones or metroidvanias as weLL.

I cannot wait for Shinobi's return n Ninja Gaiden's 2D return. love the more-modern Ninja Gaidens as weLL n 4 wiLL be PHYER but I'm an olskool 80's arcade warrior n 2D plats n b'mups n fighters n shit are my heart n my home.

My aunt can attest to how good this game is. She played it on the PS3 and now we have it for the PS4 as well. She also played the original in the arcades back in the day so she's quite familiar with it. Hiryu has also been one of her go to characters in the MvC series.
