First of all — take my opinion with a pinch of salt, because it is just that: an opinion. I hate to be that guy, but depending on how long you've had these feelings and how much they hinder your everyday life, you might need to go to therapy. I'm not saying this from an outsider's perspective, and I'm not speaking from ignorance either — I've had long-term depression for years and suffered from anxiety so intense it caused me panic attacks. Had I not looked for professional help, I wouldn't even be here writing this post, I think. Friends and family are always important, for sure, and being able to be yourself and freely express what you think and feel is important, too. But sometimes they're not enough, and that's when therapy is (in my opinion) the best option.
