One of the few cases where an arcade console version is better than the original. Sure, the graphics are smaller/compressed now, but the betting system can give you more than one ending. I bet all my money on the final boss, but I never thought it would be nearly as good as it was, and I finished it effortlessly. So I ended up poor in an alley (true).
I think this version even adds an enemy not seen in the arcade version (and the girls of the console have different hair styles, even seing the same body model).
That said, this version doesn't do wonders for the gameplay, as the hitboxes were already questionable in the arcade.
And forget about 2vs2 like the arcade.
Although I do find this version more playable.
