Hot damn, we live in a time where people actively decomp old PS2 games to run on inferior hardware. This is quite an amazing feat. The amount of money I would give to see the same being done for the Melty Blood games would be quite high. Oomf.

Bare in mind that the original SFIII series is not PS2 native but ran on CPS3 hardware, Melty blood iirc is native running on Naomi? significantly more powerful hardware. could still be possible but given how DC emulation is on psp i'm not optimistic....

Probably the greatest fighting game of all time. I only have a few hundred hours on it using Fightcade, but love every minute of it.
Worth having on every single device.

I mean...maybe it's possible, I can't test it. But a native Vita version would be way better, mostly for the lack of slowdown and proper graphics scaling
Played 2 hours on my PSVita via Adrenaline. In my experience, it works flawlessly.

My lord.. does this mean we will see more PS2 decoms ported to the PSP?!
I never dreamed of this possibility but I'm all for it.

I have, I believe it was back in 2009 I think I told my friend wouldn't it be cool if Sonic Unleashed PS2 was ported to the PSP? I dunno why but I felt the PSP is capable of running the game but he disagreed, I still hope to see it happen.

so, this is a decompilation of the PS2's japanese version, translated to english, then ported to PSP?

Can't you play it with Adrenaline?

Since a hacked Playstation Classic can play eboots...can that piece of junk play this?

Works on Steam Deck.
(Though there is some screen tearing in the for of tiny lines, and whenever someone loses; it plays the long KO Sound effect before immediately turning into the sound when they just get hit by an attack... Kinda weird...)

I think is important to mention that according to port's creator, this doesn't work on psp 1000

Plausible, as those models only had 32MB of RAM (later models were upgraded to 64MB to handle video-out). I remember CPS arcade emulation on the 1000 series required extra space for pre-processed files (or something like that) whereas the later systems could just run from the ROM directly.

a miracle! :loldog
Works flawless on pstv

Can we get it on PS Vita too?
Tested it on my PS Vita 2000 via Adrenaline runs flawlessly.
I think is important to mention that according to port's creator, this doesn't work on psp 1000, I talked with him, and he said he will try to improve the performance, but he is not sure is doable.
If true this is unfortunate but I only have a PS Vita 2000 and a PSP E-1000 so I cannot confirm.

Thanks for this. It's certainly a note worth adding.
