The only VGM streaming I'm aware of is Rainwave Video Game Music Radio. I usually have it playing while working (I work remotely). It has introduced me to a lot of amazing music from games I would have likely never played (such as the Atelier games). It has also introduced me to same amazing composers, such as GO SHINA, Jeroen Tel, Tomoko Sasaki, and Yasunori Mitsuda to name a few. And it has helped me recognize who composed game music that I was already familiar with and liked, but never knew who the composer was, such as Yuzo Koshiro, Nobuo Uematsu, David Wise, Michiru Yamane and Koji Kondo.
I've tried using Spotify but I tend to find mainly covers instead of the originals, which I do like, but I wish I could also make playlists consisting of original compositions. It does seem to be getting better though. But I have to give props to Rainwave, its free, no ads, has several categories so if you want covers, originals, or just chiptune, you can listen to those only. It has a voting system and even has a mobile app! I've been listening to it for over 10 years now and I'm so glad its still around! So I figured it was worth sharing here in case other people like listening to videogame music
Do you know of any other ways of listening to video game music?
