Actually a really good game.

Knuckles Chaotic is not a bad game is just not for everyone. However just like Sonic CD better play an improved version of it if you can get it.

THIS is an AMAZING game. Called Stellar Assault in Japan and Europe, and Shadow Squadron in US.
One of the best 3D games of the system and a very unknown Sega game by the major public... cause, by that year, PSX and Saturn were already in the market showing new marvels in 3D, and also, because 32X life was very short and eclipsed by those machines starting already in 1995.
Nonetheless, and AMAZING game for the 32X, and one of the best titles in its catalog.

The game is an original title for the system, and shows the decent 3D abilities (with no textures) the system had, being a fantastic companion to the "more frenetic" Star Wars Arcade port for 32X, also a 3D shooter game, much well known because it was a launch title.

Has 2 gameplay modes: free 3D play, and game on rails (were you basically shot).
You can play with 2 different ships, and it even had a co-operative mode with another player.

It received a sequel for the Sega Saturn I was totally unaware of it until few years ago, because the sequel never left Japan.

VERY RECOMMENDED 32X game, unlike Knuckles Chaotix XD.

I haven't played it but it doesn't look so bad for a simulation/space combat game with Polygonal 3D graphics to be a 32X game from '95.
