Stardew Valley

Same, they just don’t quite register to my brain. I just don’t find them relaxing. Maybe if they add a “kill 15 metal slimes” objective I’d find it more relaxing.
Check the bulletin board for daily missions! Plus you'll eventually unlock the mines and further down the line the Adventurers Guild

sure, playing HM or reading the wiki are not requirements to have a great vanilla SV experience at all...
Absolutely, I was just letting some new players now that there's no shame in checking out when the hell is Sebastian coming out of his room omg...

I just noticed that I actually own this game for the Switch as well??? I have legitimately ZERO recollection of ever getting it on there, must've been on a big sale a million years ago or something.

Which experience do you who've played both consider the best, Switch or PC? Mods don't make or break an experience for me, that'd just be a nice extra, I'm thinking more along the lines of actual playability and "comfiness" factor if that makes sense.

I think the Switch version is up to date with the newer updates, but console always takes a bit longet to get them, something to consider in case you're planning to play long term, SV is always being worked on. I think that and wether or not you prefer analog or mouse/keyboard controls

Updates being slower probably won't probably bother me as it's apparently such a big game anyways.
I do tend to prefer relaxing games with a controller in general, and m+kb for stuff like MMOs or shooters, so a more laid back controller experience doesn't sound too bad actually! Does navigating the menus translate well to having controller input instead of a mouse?

I don't own a NS, so I can't really say what's best. Just go for the things you already own, part of SV's greatness is also enabling all these possibilities and exchanges among console, PC and mobile players. I particularly can't use joypads to play these kind of games. It feels just weird for me, but that's all.

It becomes more clunky but it works fine

But switch 2 has mouse controls if you are interested ( or rich )

It's a little like Minecraft

I never taught about making a topic about the game as well most people don´t give a damn about what I say so the post would just die and then some one would make a post and ask why no one did it.

But I love the game so much and I think my nearly 8000 hours should telling enough that I like it. And it´s so mod friendly as well which makes the game even so more playable with mods like Stardew valley extend or Ridgeside Village.

Or use a simple mod like anime portraits. Nothing against the original art style but an anime nerd I prefer more anime style of I can and thanks to mods I can.

Just trying to get my Adventurer's Guild membership.

Sorry, farm... You are getting neglected ;D!
100% me and my farms, I only bother filling the doggo's bow of water (kidding ofc) :loldog

I haven't got the 100% final ending yet. I should get back to it someday.

Last thing I did was getting my Infinity weapons...wish there was a boss monster that made it necessary for making it...like in Terraria...

I've got a weird relationship with Stardew Valley. I've never made it past year 2, because I always burn myself out. It seems that even when I try to keep in mind that it is a game for relaxing and I don't need to rush, I still race a clock that isn't there. I chalk that up to the person who introduced me to the game, because that is how she played it.

It's just strange because I don't do that with Minecraft, which carries a similar feel.

This came at exactly the right time for me because I have just gotten violently sick and having some low-pressure activity to do was a good medicine.

I like that I had been trying to upgrade my watering can, but then I unlocked the sprinklers and that made it completely unnecessary -- it's back to farming for me.

I haven't really spoken with the townfolk or gotten to do much of anything, other than buying supplies, cleaning the field and exploring the mines and I love that the game isn't annoying me about it.

Plus, I love how crazy customisable my character was -- I enjoy staring a little, pixelated Samantha (the character I made) because the game let me even change the colors of her clothes without much of a fuss. I'm really tempted to find my old save, load it on another phone and interconnect the two.

Oof, hopefully I get to play a little bit today

(I have no idea what this says I just aw it on a chinese fanart account and I thought it was funny)
