I don't often play online games but I like this one and now a new expansion has been released Legacy of the Sith.
Let me explain what it is about :

An Ongoing Conflict

The war between the Galactic Republic and the Sith Empire spreads to new worlds! Dangerous fringe groups rise in the dark corners of the galaxy and Darth Malgus pursues an unknown plan… Unravel these mysteries and more as your choices continue to shape the galaxy.

Combat Styles
Players can now separate their Class Story from gameplay style for an even greater customization experience. This frees up Advanced Class options as characters can choose any Advanced Class within the Tech or Force playstyle! Play as a Trooper wielding a Sniper Rifle, or a Sith Inquisitor with a lightsaber in each hand, or even secretly use Dark Side powers while posing as a member of the Jedi Order.

Return to the Underwater Depths
The Sith Empire has invaded Manaan to seize its abundance of kolto, a vital medical resource on all sides of the war. Battle through underwater facilities for control of the planet with separate Imperial and Republic Storylines. Completing the Manaan storyline will unlock a new base of operations for your faction!

Explore a Ruined Sith Fortress

The story continues on the planet Elom with the discovery of a ruined Sith Fortress that was mysteriously erased from all records. Rumors persist that Darth Malgus--on the hunt for ancient relics throughout the galaxy--may have found something critical to the future of the Jedi and the Sith. This new storyline will be available both as a solo experience as well as a multiplayer Flashpoint!

That's it, I'm still at the very beginning but it's good.

Just fyi, it's actually called "The Old Republic" not "Knights of the Old Republic".
This is an important distinction because KOTOR is a single-player game from like 2003.

Thanks, I changed it I'm not up to date formerly called Knights of the Old Republic.

I played The Old Republic when it first came out. I never played it after the first expansion though because I stopped playing MMOs.

Fun game.

I also only played up to this expansion Knights of the Fallen Empire then I let it go again. Now I started playing it again.

I played slightly during the winter of 2023. it was fun, but i fell out of it pretty fast

FFXIV addiction lMAO
Yeah, that's kind of the thing with this game you start it and play for a while but then suddenly you stop for whatever reason. I've started playing it again. Let's see how far I'll get this time the new expansion looks promising.

I played The Old Republic for a few days as a sith and I remember they finally made sith characters actually evil and well written, not edgy kids so only good thing about the game is sith roleplay but I dislike the way how empty and lack of quality MMO games are so I just deleted the game and never touched it. Never saw any playable MMO game whatsoever lol. They are boring even with friends.

Played it for a while when it released, but my computer could barely handle it.
I played for a bit like 2023 or something where I played an evil red twi'lek babe, and had an alright time, but I never found it to be too special, really.

I've tried playing it a few times but could never really enjoy it. It just made me wish it was a singleplayer game, to be honest, and I'd usually just end up playing KOTOR again after trying. It's incredible that the game is still going somehow, I'll give them credit there; its somehow survived liked 2 MMO crashes.
