So they finally dropped a full gameplay trailer:

The fact they promoted the players ability to deviate from the show and "change history" by:
respecting his sentience & saving Tuxiv
Fills me with confidence that this game is being made by fans who appreciate the license. It doesn't appear to be a skinsuit game.
My excitement is slowly rising, the trailer shows off the ability to recruit one shot characters from key episodes of the series as crew members, also it depicts an random encounters that chronologically take place in season 6.
Implying it will be a full package with no syphoned off DLC locking away late series scenarios.

I grew up with Voyager, whilst I admit I grew out of it and find myself enjoying Deep Space 9 more this game looks fantastic.
Considering Voyager has a track record of receiving amazing game adaptation in Ravens classic: Elite Force:

I think we're finally getting GOOD Star Trek again after a nearly two decade drought, ironically when the activation licence expired.

Is anyone else excited?

Star Trek Voyager is one of the shows that got a larger following as time passed by, as it used its premise of the eponymous Voyager being hurled into the Delta Quadrant as a jumping-off point for more outlandish stories that would seem odd in its more serious older brother Deep Space Nine. It's a show I will happily watch alongside Deep Space Nine down the road, and I'm so happy that it's getting more video game love after Ensign Munro and the Hazard Team's journey came to an end in 2002.

Also, Joel Goldsmith's theme for Voyager has to be the best main Star Trek theme not by Alexander Courage, Jerry Goldsmith or James Horner.
