Sorry to say this, but this translation is horrible and shouldn't be on the site. A lot of the dialogue is simply badly translated and the guy responsible for the translation never updated it.

I believe there should be a lit bit of quality control before posting some translations here on the Repo.
Okay, sorry, the next Brazilian fan translations I'm going to post will be better.

Thanks for this although i'll repeat what i said some months before. I believe it should be named "Brazilian Portuguese" to avoid mistaking this translation with onen from Portugal. Aside that what i like is seeing the tools that were used to translate the game, this surely will helpful for those who will want to do the same.

And I'll take the opportunity to repeat too what I said some months ago for you in different occasions: we know about your proposal, but won't change that. At least not in the near future.

English and Spanish also have many strong regional differences and we (mostly) never covered that. The same way brazilian portuguese, per se, in our lovely huge continental size country, are super different from state to state. We'll keep pointing out the regional difference in the descriptions, though (what Viviana forgot to do just in this specific entry, altough she have been doing in all of her previous posts), and people can find that out reading the entry. Unfortunately, we can't retroactively change all the old posts Spike have done throughout the decade (!) right now, it would require a lot of revision, entry per entry, and it would make the language filters too convoluted. For me as a brazilian, as you are as well, I was always thankful for having european portuguese options when brazilian portuguese patches and official localizations didn't exist (the same way many portuguese children and youngsters are now prefering brazilian portuguese LOL). Even in the romhack scene, anyway, not all games have both options, so, from our conditions right now, its more interesting to keep "portuguese" as a single language (as it is, after all), letting people know about its regional approach when they open up the entry.

Most of the Portuguese fan translations posted here on the Repo are posted as Portuguese patched. I will later add Brazilian Portuguese to the description for clarification.

SF64 é jogão demais, joguei o port de pc a pouco tempo e originalmente quando aluguei o n64 um fim de semana no início dos anos 2000, mas eu era muito pequeno pra fechar ele. ::cirnoshrug

Thanks Viviana !::peacemario
