Wii U Splatoon 1 is awful at matchmaking

Splatoon was like, one of those games I've been curious about & seeing that it was also Pretendo supported, I've been even more curious. But you basically just confirmed what I was afraid of haha. Learning a game when everybody is pretty good at it is not my most ideal scenario, even if it does drill in the basics a lot faster.

This is a ridiculous thing to complain about considering its running on a niche 3rd party server now.

If you only care about Splatoon then you have 2 games to play too if you get a Switch. I don't think I've ever seen anyone who has a Wii U but didn't get a Switch as well. Might as well just wait for Switch 2 in a few months at this point.

i think this is something pretty reasonable to say honestly, consoles are expensive as hell especially if you're not actually into its library. and when there's available emulators you may as well keep the money

I only got it to mod it. Then I put cemu on my steam deck to play splatoon. and no, im not getting a switch. stupid take
