I think Disney should have used Mickey & crew as the basis for the Poke... I mean Spectrobes. Cartoony pocket sized monster species based on Disney animal characters might have had a chance. Think Kingdom Hearts-fied Pokemon!

Sounds like some patents made last year out of pettiness for a game that also has those mechanics.
