Yeah there's a thousand versions, which isn't surprising since it's Falcom and their games always got ported and remade a lot.

The DOS version was officially released in English by Sierra Online, back in the day. It's readily available on abandonware sites. Although it's pretty janky, I'd much prefer to play a version for consoles.

like others i would love to play this on genesis/ md in english... i wasnt even aware sega made it for mega drive in japan... i knew they made deals with falcom leading to Popful Mail and Dragon Slayer Legend of Heroes etc, but i wasnt aware of this one...

Which is cool, but it's worth saying that all the scenarios in the Genesis version are new and exclusive to that version. In fact members of the Phantasy Star team worked on it.
