Also... They got rid of Mighty? Really?

Is only for this hack, I find it ironic that Amy in Sonic Mania mod also got rid of Mighty since I'm a biased Sonic and Amy fan I don't mind, lol

But I'd argue that those made it an objectively worse game.

Developers went overboard and I know no shortage of people who can't even look at the game without getting dizzy.

I don't disagree, I'm not the biggest fan of this game as it kinda drags with five acts of which are mostly empty, also the 32X can do better (see Sonic Robo Blast 2 32X, in fact I may upload that one later) but I understand this is subjective and I know people who prefer these visuals, even Sonic Mania took inspiration from Chaotix's graphics.

Should be interesting, Chaotix uses some "shoehorned" effects in an attempt to showcase the new hardware, sprite scaling, sprite rotation, reflection, 3d backgrounds, higher color palette, I'm unsure how much of this can be downgraded for the Mega Drive hardware tbh.

I'm still wondering if it's technically possible to "demake" the game for the Genesis.
