The Win95 PC port of Sonic The Hedgehog CD patched to run on newer systems (tested on Win7) setup lets you choose between the US and JP soundtrack. Patch by Korama

Sonic CD is without a doubt one of the best Sonic games, especially because in terms of gameplay it follows in the footsteps of 1 and 2, very good graphics for a game from '93-'96 and today they have aged like wine, incredible music, especially the Japanese and European versions that have a much better atmosphere and a fair and fun learning curve. It is also the first Sonic game that allowed you to save and load your game, and the PC port has full-screen cinematics in both the intro and the ending and also a very good port of the Sega Mega CD version that we know.
and it's the port that Sonic Gems Collection used

It was already a golden age of fan translations of regionally-unreleased games, and it was already a golden age of great indie games and also retro appreciation, and now you're telling me it's also a golden age of patched PC ports of games that had surprising releases on PC and can now be resurrected and played today?!?! (Outrun 2, Sega Rally 2, Sonic CD, etc!)
