This Avril Lavigne song about losing someone dear to you came out the same time my Mom past away.
Since then whenever I hear this song it never fails to bring a tear to my eye

For some reason I can’t get myself to listen to this band’s cover of this song because this band is one of her favorite and so is this song.

(Don't know how to put links in my comment so i just write the names, sorry)
Christina Perri - A Thousand Years
Ruth B. - Dandelions
Mr.Kitty - After Dark
Sasha Sloan - Dancing With Your Ghost
Izzamuzzic - Shootout

Mainly Because i used to listen to them when i got friend-zoned. now the don't make me cry like they used to but still make me emotional.

I tried to create an honest man, a man of right and good,
Who's head was quickly shattered, nothing left but blood,
They wrote at least a letter, explaining of their thanks,
But little boys have little hope against the Russian tanks,
How could they do this?
How could they kill my son?

His soul was just a number, hanging on the cross,
Just another casualty, another pointless loss,
But me I was his father, so how do I feel now,
My life long goal is over, but still I wonder how,
How could they do this?
How could they kill my son?
This one always gets me and I've never even been a father.

The Samurai Champloo outro song, Shiki No Uta, always puts me in a melancholic, bittersweet nostalgic mood. Takes me back to summer's spent with old friends as a teen, and how much I sometimes miss those days.
