Can confirm I just tried Portal. It works fine, aside from no audio. That might be on my end from Linux. Aside from that, it loaded in about 30 seconds and ran smoothly

Its free so you really have nothing to lose. I will say though that I personally saw multiple graphical errors when I tried this. For example, the G-Man was missing textures in his eyes during the beginning sequence, which was a jump scare I wasn't expecting lol

Honestly Half-Life 2 is 80% off on Steam right now ($2 in the US) I would consider recommending you just pick that up so you can enjoy without any glitches or bugs this browser version may introduce. The game is EASILY worth $2.
