MY COUSIN GAVE ME THIS AND I DONT KNOW WHAT IT IS TRIED RESEARCHING IT BUT THAT LEAD TO NOWHERE!!

Just to clarify yall it’s for the ds and i want to know what it is for and where its from
It is for tapping the screen or draw patterns. As for where it's from... It looks third party, so it could be from anywhere. Do you see a maker or logo anywhere on the package or product?

also it isn’t this, not from the ds era and the case is made out of cardboard
Well, it could be some knockoff product or bootleg as well.
Because anything official Nintendo is well documented by the Fantendo crew

Solution
Now that you say that I don’t see any Nintendo branding

Yup this is correct, the stylus’s don’t have any Nintendo branding after I compared it to a official ds stylus but I still wonder where they come from tho

Yeah, I said it was third party as well because there was no way in hell Nintendo wasn't gonna spam their logo fifty times on the case and each individual pen XD

Most likely, it's some third-party company from China.

I would almost bet there's a "Made in Taiwan or China" branded on it somewhere, and they slapped the Super Mario print on some cheap cardboard, which you said it was made from.

Looking at it now, there is a Yoshi egg on it.
That's Super Mario World, not Super Mario.

Official Nintendo merchandise would never make a goof like that and not put "Super Mario World" on it. Also, Shy Guys, which were not in Super Mario World.

And well, the Super Mario text is in fact in the same font and color scheme as SMW.

Congrats! you got a Official Bootleg Knockoff XD
I Would keep it, as it's still neat myself

Not to mention, if it were official Big N merchandise, it wouldn't be cardboard...maybe plastic, but not cardboard.

Something like that from Mehtendo themselves would be fairly medium quality, at least.

Most likely it was something purchased with rewards points. Nintendo used to have exclusive stuff on their website back in the day.
Fair enough, but as @Waffles said it doesn't have Pretendo's name tattooed all over it...
so probably not official

It’s not a club Nintendo reward, first of all it would of been well documented and second my cousin didn’t have club Nintendo Account
