(Solved) Desmume Chinatown Wars Graphical Issues

Yo, I downloaded Chinatown Wars and from the get go, there are just missing textures and the floors and buildings just completely turn to black. I've looked it up online and there are no answers. Does anybody here know how to fix this?

P.S. I doubt it's a hardware problem cuz otherwise, the game runs smoothly.

Are you using the latest release of Desmume? The nightly version, not stable.
Stable is a few years old at this point.

You can get it under "Other DeSmuME Releases"

I have no idea about this issue with DeSmuME, but it's worth considering playing the PSP version with PPSSPP

Yeah why are you using Desmume in 2025 its never been super up to date or anything

Switched to MelonDS and immediately felt like a mongoloid.
