Citra and Lime3DS are what I tried. They’re nice.

you just need to rename unencrypted 3ds files to cci. You can also compress them to zcci and save half the space

Azahaar is the latest and greatest to 3ds emulation. Definitely give it a whirl.

Just a heads up, Azahar made a change to not work with .3ds files or encrypted games. There's a fork called Azaharplus which fixes that.

No Idea why they made that Change as only have to change Extension to Rom File to get it to work

Citra is the only one I ever used and it doesn't get updated anymore.

I'm on team Azahar, although like all the other 3DS emulators, it can't run Mario & Luigi Paper Jam worth a damn.
