I LOVE the way Ciri looks, I'm not really big on all the realistic / rtx/ technical details when it comes to games just love the character designs, stories, and art BUT ... yknow with how cyberpunk 2077 launched, i wonder if all the fancy tech and stuff they showed in the demo will materialize

honestly tho, even if they screw up the launch i'm sure cd projekt will be able to recover (in a couple years) just like they did with cyberpunk

Zero interest about Witcher 4 or any modern AI slop.

For all we know Cyberpunk was their swan song and they'll just release the minimum viable product, like the rest of the industry, while the fans will buy it without asking themselves any question.

If we can call them "fans" at all. Only 5% of the players completed Witcher 3 and the DLCs with all the content. Most are only excited to *buy* the same thing and get hyped, it's just groupthinking and Pavlovian marketing.

They don't need to make another Cyberpunk recovery. Since then people have shown times and times again they're ready for the slop.

The Witcher 4 looks great, But I doubted people Twitter be really mad

Well it looks nice and going with Ciri as protagonist is kind of what they should do.
But yeah im not hyped what so ever they proven they can´t be trusted at all.

Also it´s funny to me her new design was so uggly and apparnetly they got so much complaints about it they back peddle and have now resigned her to look more like she did in the first 4 games.

But when you redsign a beloved charter I know your very stupid and can´t the trusted. Companies need to learn don´t piss of the fans that made you big just becuse you want new fans. Pissing on your fan base what will get you unemployed "caugh" Dragon age.

I may get this game on a summer/winter sale 2030-2031 that´s how intrested I am.

Well, they showed 0 actual gameplay and pretended that their cute horse-muscly nanite-filled-tree based tech demo was actually running in real time (even had a person with a controller on stage, lol), so we still don't know how the game looks (and plays) like. Its not that I'll be able to play it anyway but I just watch from afar at the industly and its pursuit for graphical fidelity above else, and that makes me not wanna bother saving for new hardware. Anyway, it looks like a videogame, I guess.

It was a tech demo, just a graphics showcase probably serving as technical practice on their move to UE5, it does not represent the game and you should not be getting your hopes up over this.

Lowkey just waiting for them to finish Witcher 4 so they can lock in on the next Cyberpunk....::raymanknows

Even though I liked Witcher 2 and 3, it's not something I'm going crazy over. I'll play it when it comes out, it just doesn't excite me. Few games do nowadays, though.

i was not really a fan of the witcher 2 or 3 in spite of liking the original, so my interest is mild here
also, is the witcher 4 really using generative ai? i have never heard this before but it makes me very sad if it is true

generative ai
seems like they're not!

also i'm surprised that cd projekt is very unpopular, i enjoyed witcher 3 and cyberpunk immensely. i could say cyberpunk is my fav rpg game

im not entirely ignorant to the fact that it's a technical demo running on their machines. so the game is unlikely to be as polished as their demo, but i'm wondering how close to the tech demo will we get, and i do think the character design of ciri looks great, so do the NPCs. I'm excited to see the monsters too and how combat / dialogue / ui will look like

It’s early to be hyped, as the little watermark throughout the demo explicitly said “not gameplay,” but I still kinda am. 3 is the only open world fantasy thing that ever did anything for me, and the prospect of spending more time in that world is exciting. If the quality of writing remains it’ll prolly be the reason I finally upgrade my dinosaur PC. Y’know, in 2029 or whenever it actually drops.

It's still a tech demo in the end. So until they show us actual gameplay, I'm not getting my hopes up.

I really enjoyed Witcher 2, great work. The game industry money men hijacked them, broke them, like they do everything else.
