I have to imagine the US arm of PR has a workload that's greater than the entire output of other studios. There are surely bad people there, but come now. What is the point of NOA besides persecuting people. No talent whatsoever in there.
"He will be succeeded by Devon Pritchard, a nearly a 20-year veteran of the video game industry and long-time Nintendo exec. Most recently, Pritchard served as executive vice president of revenue, marketing and consumer experience at Nintendo of America, overseeing many aspects of the Switch 2 launch this spring. Pritchard will also join the Nintendo of America board of directors and become an executive officer at Japan-based parent company Nintendo."I wonder who his successor will be.
Yeah, that's what I've been thinking too. While I get that it's easy to blame the "EA guy" who's last name is literally the flagship villain of the company he represents for all of the anti-consumerist policies from Nintendo- I think it's actually a trend that predates him and will also outlive his career at Nintendo.
It most definitely will... The Lawyers of Nintendo will only get worse unless they get put in their place by something like the Palworld Lawsuit, until they get a bloody nose on the legal fronts they'll keep this trend going until the joke of them being a law firm that also makes games becomes truth. While I get that it's easy to blame the "EA guy" who's last name is literally the flagship villain of the company he represents for all of the anti-consumerist policies from Nintendo- I think it's actually a trend that predates him and will also outlive his career at Nintendo.
Someone named Daisy or Peach, I'm sure. Though it would be absolutely hilarious if the next person to take his place was named Luigi or Mario.I wonder who his successor will be.
It seems like Nintendo is infamous for filing lawsuits. Like the one they lost with Galoob just because of Game Genie. I just find Nintendo to be too touchy. I've played a weeks worth of Palworld and yeah, it somewhat reminded me of Pokemon but at the same time I saw very few similar things. Even the Pal sphere doesn't really resemble a pokeball other than what it's function is.It most definitely will...
