Where did September go? Not a damn clue but hey its October.
Do you guys have any plans for this month? Im thinking of trying Forbidden Siren 2 and finish SH Shattered Memories amongst some other spooky adjacent media.
Maybe actually start paranoia agent but yeaaah. Wonder what others are up to

My whole September was playing Mother 1 Mother 2, Tales of Xilla and Shining in the Darkness

To be honest I suppose to play Obscure 1 and Outbreak file 1 (jap ver with English Patch) but my ps2 ::sadkirby

But maybe I play Etrian Odyssey series thia season.

Trying to decide if I should get Silent Hill f for spooky month or just wait 6 months for the price to go down.

My good friend has been replaying all of the Resident Evil games this October so I've mostly just been tuning into what he has to say about them. All I can really manage for the month is my favorite (RE4) since I got a lot going on at work for the month, still I'm happy to give it another run through.

I'm trying to figure out where the heck the year has gone already.

As for plans this month, I'm going to try Fatal Frame II...this will be interesting to see if I can finish it. I get scared so easily!

Happy October! I'm personally planning to play through Visage for the first time (gonna stream it !) and maybe some other horror games too if I manage to finish it! Possibly SH4 or Homecoming? idk yet!

Happy spooky month! I will jump into the obligatory Castlevania revisit, etiher Order of Ecclesia, SotN or any of the Classicvanias. Might finally play Parasite Eve II too, loved the first one.

I got bored playing SilentHill2 remake till just chapter 2, theres total 12.
The remake has No Soul, No fog, No Jump Scary like OG., its just escape room puzzle, going here and there

SO going to play Armored Core 6 on my Msi Claw for fast actions.

My country has no such Western culture, we don't even care about birthdays. All we care about is some military victories and whatever sad stuff happened in such militaristic stuff. In short all "big deal stuff" involves military events and people so in comparison random people's life and "unrealistic events" are not our thing. Even if it was I wouldn't care about these per se.

That being said my October plan is very personal stuff:

- Improve myself to see if I can translate video games. These days I test drive some of my favourite PS2 games and trying to gain experience with translating.

- I really need to start drawing in a way stuff looks 3D beyond "2D stuff on flat object" sense. I try to draw cool people with cool "3D posture".

- I started pixel art stuff but need experience for pixel art animation (drawing is easy but animation is hard when it comes to pixels, so perhaps I gotta stop caring about "pixel ratio" to match pixel patterns).

- I always wanted to produce music that sounds like Sega Genesis' Yamaha YM2612. I may remake one of my music thus.

- I have some short story ideas waiting to be written for a long time.

- I know Initial D already have a train racing parody manga but I wanna use the idea for my own comics idea and I call it "Initial T" lol.

However I know these are kinda impossible to do in a month and it scares me yo!!! lol

I'm going to finish Resident Evil VII on madhouse difficulty. This is an incredible game, finally after the silliness of RE 4-6
they made an actual survival horror game.

I love the Baker family

Prolly too much for one month but nothing to be scared of! Deeply respect setting a through line for improving on personal passions.
I can relate to an extent, been trying to learn a new art program (Krita), get used to proper video editing software, keep up with some casual writing on hobbies (I like to write reviews on my off time, being able to articulate what makes me love the things I do is something very important to me and I hope to continue improving in that regard), amongst some other things.
Just get into the groove of things in general when it comes to art.

Kudos to you and I wish you the best and please dont over extert yourself. Take it at all at your own pace

Thanks. I always have a dead-set feeling like I have to follow my plan for the day so I won't feel like wasting my life. I really always felt like this. It started with playing games and finishing them and then it got complex and varied a lot. At least recently I could give myself a slack to understand the importance of I'm a person with a body and therefore rests and having fun is necessary part of working better. I may cannot end of workaholic tendencies but at least I'm glad they became managable.

I also came up with "x3 rule" that if I believe a task will end in 3 days then I give myself 3x3 = 9 day limit to finish it. Thus I "convince myself" that it may never end in 3 days and it's okay as long as it ends in 9 days (in this example), and when it doesn't end the real "horror" starts for me so I push it to the limit to end it without doing anything else lol.
