[*][I]Thor: The Dark World[/I] did Christopher Eccleston wrong by putting him in the most forgettable film. [*][I]CA: Winter[/I] continues the win streak for CA, although I hate how fans treat it like a super deep political thriller when it's pretty tame compared to the real thing. [*][I]Guardians of the Galaxy[/I] was surprisingly good considering the obscurity of the team. Also the last time I liked Chris Pratt in anything. [*][I]Avengers: Age of Whedon[/I] was way too Whedon. [*][I]Ant-Man[/I] was fine but had a dull villain. [*]CA: CW was never going to live up to the hype, given that it was an adaptation of a badly written series. It was serviceable, but the lesser of the CA movies. [*][I]Doctor Strange[/I] was interesting, but I would have liked more screen time with Dormammu instead of generic bad wizard. [*][I]Guardians of the Galaxy[/I] v2 sucked. Pratt goes full prat, story feels aimless, James Gunn gives in to his worst humor tendencies, and Mantis is not introduced well. [*][I]Spider-man: HC[/I] does well enough. [*][I]Thor Ragnarok[/I] is the one good Thor movie. And the one good Hulk movie. [*][I]Black Panther[/I] is a really good film mired in lazy CGI. [*][I]Avengers: IW[/I] is better than the previous ones. Glad they didn't mess with the ending. [*][I]Ant-Man and Whatever[/I] was forgettable. Literally don't remember it. [*][I]Captain Marvel[/I] was just like the comic: there just to block DC from regaining a trademark. [*][I]Avengers: EG[/I] closes the series well. [*][I]Spider-man: FFH[/I] was meh until the 3rd act. A really good ending ruined by its sequel. [*][I]Black Widow[/I] was just nothing. Maybe a tax write-off? [*][I]Shang-Chi[/I] was surprisingly boring. Nothing felt like it had weight. [*][I]Eternals[/I] was the same case. [*][I]Spider-man: Remember the Raimi Movies[/I] was meh. Somehow, the Whedon writing starts getting more obnoxious at this point despite Whedon having been away for some time. [*][I]Doctor Strange and the Script Change starring Wanda from the Disney+[/I] [I]Series[/I] is bottom of the barrel cynical monetization trash. Said f*** this to the MCU at this point. I'm not buying DLC for a movie. [/LIST] So on the whole, the MCU was entertaining in a popcorn fare way. It had its highlights that I don't regret watching. However, the post-[I]Endgame[/I] downward spiral got so bad I'm not so sure I'm going back to it even with Doctor Doom coming up. At minimum, I'm never watching it in theaters again. [/QUOTE]
