Tame??¿¿¿Tame???!!!! I watched 50 Shades of BS for its memes and ended up puking lol. And then we have Saltburn at home and it has the wildest women fantasy sexual shit I ever witnessed SMH when I thought the 3 women talking about covering some celebrity man's body in chocolate and licking it until the end in a random forum would be the wildest women fantasy I would ever witness!!! lolol
Saltburn was one of a handful of movies that I literally stopped watching around the end of act 1 of the movie. It was trying way to hard to be gross yet controversial in the modern era, so it could get free publicity on various social media. It was genuinely trying too hard and struck me as cringe inducing or just gross.
50 shades is pretty tame, I've read excerpts from the book and it's ridiculous, you'd know it's written by an English woman that says crap a lot. The book has a more extreme moment involving a female sanitary item but it's otherwise just bdsm stuff outside of that. All in all it's a very silly movie and book that was popular with older women that haven't either ever found their husbands attractive or found their husbands boring for a while now and are a a result gone slightly crazy from being horny. Most of this stuff is aimed at the horrendously down bad, so it's either very tame and blown out of proportion or it's extreme and weird.
I know it's a genre mostly dominated by women writers, so I will enjoy the challenge. That challenge is mostly overcoming alot of the cringe when I read some of these books, involving you know what. But women just seem to love that type of stuff. Fuck it, one to cross off the bucket list.
I'm writing a story with a sub-plot of a black magic practitioner purposefully possessing herself by her horror auteur ghost lover and giving birth in the midst of a no-win scenario with godlike being :P
