So, I lost several Nintendo Switch games...

This is more of a rant than anything. I just need to vent a bit...

So, every morning, I ride a bus to get to school. To make the trip more pleasant, I usually carry around my Nintendo Switch or a book, depending on what I'm "beating" at the moment. This time it was the Switch, since I'm finishing Process of Elimination. For whatever God forsaken reason, instead of placing the case in which I keep the Switch on inside my bag, I place it on my legs (I only play if I have a place to seat on).

Fast forward a few days and I notice I no longer have my case (I still have my Switch, at least!). I don't particularly care about the case, it's cheap. The problem is that I had almost all of my Nintendo Switch games in there. Why? No idea! I might be stupid. After calling the bus company several times and visiting the lost and found section... no dice. I can assume it has been taken by somebody.

It sucks. Not only did I lose Monster Hunter Generations Ultimate (of which I still had a lot to do), but I also lost all of my Dragon Quest games (which is important because I was keeping a collection of Dragon Quest paraphernalia). I still have the boxes of the games, at least, but it's not the same without the cartridges.

I'm not blaming anyone for this. If anything, I blame myself. There was no reason to not put the case inside my bag or to transport all of my games like that. Stay humble!

Então, todas as manhãs, pego um ônibus para ir à escola. Para tornar a viagem mais agradável, costumo levar meu Nintendo Switch ou um livro, dependendo do que estou "jogando" no momento. Desta vez foi o Switch, já que estou encerrando o Processo de Eliminação. Por algum motivo inexplicável, em vez de colocar a capa do Switch dentro da minha mochila, eu a coloco no meu colo (só jogo se tiver onde sentar).

Passados alguns dias, percebi que não tinha mais a minha capa (pelo menos ainda tinha o meu Switch!). Não me importa muito com a capa, é barato. O problema é que quase todos os meus jogos de Nintendo Switch estavam lá dentro. Por quê? Não faço ideia! Talvez eu esteja sendo burro. Depois de ligar várias vezes para a empresa de ônibus e ir ao setor de achados e perdidos... nada. Posso presumir que alguém levou.

É uma droga. Não só perdi o Monster Hunter Generations Ultimate (do qual ainda tinha muito para jogar), como também perdi todos os meus jogos de Dragon Quest (o que é importante porque eu estava colecionando itens relacionados a Dragon Quest). Pelo menos ainda tenho as caixas dos jogos, mas não é a mesma coisa sem os cartuchos.

Não estou culpando ninguém por isso. Se alguém culpa alguém, é a mim mesmo. Não houve motivo para não colocar a caixa dentro da minha mochila ou para transportar todos os meus jogos daquele jeito. Mantenham a humildade!

Man, I felt that.

Growing up I had a Game Boy SP but was so paranoid about loosing it that I only played inside my own house, totaly defeating the purpose of an handheld. I had to save money for a long time to buy it and I knew I would not forvige myself if I lost my Game Boy.

Does your case has any type of identification or a way for people to contact you?

I would try to ride the same bus again if possible. There is always a chance your case is still on the bus, tossed aside in a corner nobody would notice.

Unfornately, nah.

I would try to ride the same bus again if possible. There is always a chance your case is still on the bus, tossed aside in a corner nobody would notice.

The thing is that it's impossible for me to know which bus it is. There's around 30 bus lines and there aren't fixed buses per line.

Infelizmente, não.

O problema é que é impossível para mim saber qual ônibus é. Existem cerca de 30 linhas de ônibus e não há ônibus fixos em cada linha.

Mesmo assim, obrigado. Não desisti, mas acho que não vou continuar procurando. Pode estar em qualquer lugar.

this is why i'd never get a switch, can't lose stuff if you aren't taking it out of your home.
i've had Gameboys and such stolen multiple times, it sucks so bad. (especially when a game i really like is in it) between me and my brother i had four gameboy advances, three got stolen
I don't even trust my friends borrowing stuff cause i've lost many games to people misplacing them
had my PSP stolen while a friend had it, in his locked car, in front of his house.

it's a shitty feeling i can't wish on anyone (except whoever stole MY shit, i hope they got their stuff lost and stolen 10x over)

Losing games sucks big time. I lost a case with about a third of my DS games years ago and still sometimes think about it. I hope your games turn up soon.
