If you owe one yourself, how's your experience on it? Heard it will play the more demanding systems without any issues other than the limitations of the emulator itself. I'm excited!
I have a RP4 Pro. Kinda wish i had waited longer for the 5. But at the moment it made alot more sense than spending $300+ on a Odin 2. After a while you begin to realize what you play, and dont play. And for me its alot of GBA, and PSP, which don't really require a Odin 2.Very nice machine I got a Retroid pocket 5 it's very similar (a bit worse?) you'll be very happy!
That Mini looks really nice. I still play most of my PlayStation games on my PS VITA. The only obvious downside I can see with the Odin units are the wrong stick/d-pad layouts :PI did eventually trade it for a Odin 2 Mini, basically the same thing but a smaller unit, since I felt that the size wasn't really working for me.
I have never owned an Android device, what is the capability like? Are these things capable of PS2 emulation? (I just dug up my PS2 and it refuses to read discs...)Basically it can emulate whatever can be emulated on Android. I never had any problems with emulation on it, outside of the aforementioned emulator-side issues. Like Yuzu and AetherSX2 dying.

RP4/5 has the correct one with the important d-pad on top, and the superfluous analogue sticks pushed down towards the bottom where they belong. :D

Mine did the same not too long ago. Pick up a MemCard Pro 2 and you can play anything using OPL.(I just dug up my PS2 and it refuses to read discs...)
I have issues with analogue sticks larger than on the Switch because of arthritis, so I prefer games where I don't have to use them at all, and controllers where the sticks are out of the way.And the dpad/stick debate is always a fun one. I personally am fine either way. Some people prefer the stick on top of stick-based games are gonna be the primary control method, and vice-versa. But again, I can live with either. I've used Nintendo, Playstation, and Xbox controllers interchangeably and never really notice a huge difference with stick placement.
Thanks for the tip! I ended up softmodding my PS3 instead. It's a Super Slim so the process to rip a game and wrap it up as a PS2 Classics package is a bit complicated. But since it's only a few games (Xenosaga) that's ok. I've done the first game, and the result was really good. Made some graphics for the wrapper so it looks like the Classics from the PS Store.Mine did the same not too long ago. Pick up a MemCard Pro 2 and you can play anything using OPL.
