Not played it but watching the trailer is look like lame generic hero shooter that does NOTHING new just like Concord.

"To any one saying you need to try it before judging it" No you don´t that´s what trailers and reviews are for to make you decide to you wanna spend money on it or not. I don´t spend money on trash.

The sad part people that worked on Titan fall made this game instead of making Titan Fall 3. Also I wonder how can you make Titan fall but some how manage to make the most generic boring looking hero shooter.

I come to the conclusion that even if you worked on Fallout new vegas or Titan fall or is an ex developer for Assassin creed or Kotor etc does not mean you you can make good games when how ever is in charge is an utter brain dead moron.

So it´s fun to me that they bragged that ex titan fall devs worked on Concord 2 sorry I mean highguard. Because even with talented developers if you got morons and shitty writers in charge no amount of good developers will save you game from being shit.

Hero shooters are dead. Team Fortess 2 and Marvel Rivals are the exception, and not the rule.

3v3 on large maps is as boring as you'd expect. While this game's getting some play today out of morbid curiosity, I can safely say that this isn't the next big online game after playing it. I give it a week or two, maybe sooner, before people drop it.

More seriously though, it just looks uninteresting, and from the sound of the reviews it's 3V3 format on massively sized maps, which even having never tried it just sounds cumbersome and dull.

I didn't know it existed until a week ago.
I can't understand how a company decides to burn hundreds of millions of dollars on a product that's been obsolete since Overwatch stopped being mainstream.

I know there's the Marvel hero shooter, but at least that one has an IP that, for better or for worse has fans and a lot of online interaction. Not to mention all the fanservice it offers for both sides.

How weird that it did come out, considering after the Game Awards reveal, they did...zero marketing. I really thought it was going to get a last-second delay. Apparently there was some sort of event somewhere for influencers to play it in-person. From what I've heard, they did not do a public beta, so they were fully relying on what they had developed already being good to go. It sounds like an amalgamation of interesting ideas that is half-baked and needs a lot more time in the oven. I'm glad it's not yet another 5v5 or 6v6 hero shooter, but if the maps are that big, why not make it like 10v10 or 12v12? Big maps should be fought over by big teams.

It's not their fault that so many similar games have failed, but the fact that such is the case means people are going to be even more hesitant to invest time or money into it for fear of it being shut down. It's a self-fulfilling prophecy. Even when a studio says they'll stick with a game, if it's not successful, they will pull it as soon as their contracts allow. It had to be a big success immediately, which is a pretty unreasonable ask for a new studio and IP, but that's where live-service gaming is at in 2026.

With all honesty, a survival horror about dinosaurs doesn't work. You can not outrun a dinosaur, nor kill it with weapons fast enough. It can smell the secretion of your asshole from miles away.

you can't hide, nor outrun it nor kill it.

dino crisis was a re clone with janky dinosaurs, don't you dare bring it up. And making them robots doesn't work either, Horizon.

It can work. People working on the game have to put effort and care about what they're doing DC1 is just Myst with dinosaurs and too many shitty puzzles. Everything is time stamped.

I prefer DC2 over DC1 anyway, because they get rid of the bullshit puzzles and becomes a Mercenaries campaign predating how RE4 did it. Before anyone starts, RE3: Nemesis did Mercenaries first, but it plays completely differently than how RE4(R)-RE6 and Dino Crisis 2 did it.

It didn't work for you, but worked for everyone else to have two games. I am not even a fan of Horizon.
