[SNES] Xardion

I got a weird fascination towards a mid-tier SNES platformers (with light RPG elements) from 1992 but I love the mecha design and its soundtrack. It was made by Jorudan and published by Asmik.

You get to control three separate mechas each with their own powers (although Triton would be the one you'd use the most whereas Alcedes and Panthera would be more situational).

Apparently Gainax staff made the mecha design (with special thanks in the credits)

The OST was apparently done by the same person behind Gunbuster among other things

Well. I'm convinced after that anime trailer. I've heard the name floating around before but I don't think I've ever played it. This looks awesome!

What a coincidence
I started playing it today and it definitely is the game I watch my neighbor play over 30 years ago. I remember thinking it was so cool because it introduced experience points to this type of gameplay where prior I was only familiar with EXP in RPGs. So the realization that it could be incorporated into other game genres was such a novel idea to me at the time lol

I had no idea there was a CD soundtrack! Was the game ported to another console or was this just like a bonus?
