What device are you playing it on? Have you check any settings to see what's causing it?

What would the question be? The snes emulator for DS (SnemulDS I suppose) is notoriously shitty - there's nothing you can do about it. Where there are graphic glitches you must manually set the priority of the various graphic layers, by trial and error. There is no solution: for many years there have been requests for a new SNES emulator for DS on GBAtemp and, despite many suggestions, no one has ever done anything concrete about It. In any case, DS lite only has 4MB of RAM; absolutely insufficient to emulate properly a SNES !
Anyway I assume you meant to write DS Lite in the title, or not? Light has nothing to do with the problem, I surmise. ?

Lmao yeah, it is a bit shitty (also nice profile, I noticed that just now::blush)

Its weird how people will make a YouTube vid about the DS being the best "retro" emulation machine next to the 3DS and or PSP and then when you try it only do it play Mario and Pokemon but when you play some else *for example advance wars (GBA) or sim city 2000* they don't work.

3DS is definitely where its at if you want to emulate stuff like that on the DS line hardware, the DS Lite and anything before the 3DS has not the best at all. If you want something that can run SNES pretty alright from that time period, a PSP is much better.

Get a 3ds. You can inject SNES games onto it, which will run off Nintendo's own SNES emulation on the 3DS, and most of the popular ones run great. PSP has issues which is why I dropped playing any retro consoles on it.

I see. I'm like that too, so I get why you were trying. Sorry the DS doesn't have what you're looking for.

Gbarunner2 and 3 exist for gba games

People who do that suck. DS is pretty terrible for emulation. its good for playing ds and gba games tho... and there are about a billion of those...

my L button is stuck tho... how to fix?

I also tried playing SNeS on my DSi, its trial and error for wich games work, but GBA, NES and DS games are enough, or a DS or GBA port could do the job ::terriermon-happy (BTW I LOVE SIMCITY 2000 FOR THE SNES GREAT TASTE)

The DS Lite I have playing games off the SD card mind you, not a R4 card does the same thing.
Some games work absolutely fine like Mario World, and others like Super Castlevania 4 work half the time with lag depending on the effects in the stage.

It is just how it is. Get a PSP if you want a Good portable SNES for cheap.
And a Ton of other systems
