SMT 3 HD REMASTER

All you need is Jack Frost and Pyro Jack.

oh and the modafucka that's null to Phys

I'm kidding, try to have an all rounder team for the most part and you'll be fine. Ame no Muzume is very helpful early on

keep pixie until the end of the game. there's an event near the final boss where you can lvl her up instantly to lvl60ish and she gets a few good spells that help if your team sucks.
your party should vary depending on what you need to beat the current boss so "the good demons" are whatever helps beat the current wall you're facing. i dont remember keeping any demons for more than two dungeons at a time.

for example having demons with rakunda, media and mist are great for the first known wall matador. if you dont want to look up any guides for elemental builds it might also help to keep the demi fiend physical oriented and for the love of god learn focus it helps a lot.

if you aren't playing on hard you can just choose whatever demon you like the most and still do fine as long as its a well rounded team. Also big part of the challenge and the fun is figuring out these things anyway

When i build a team i usually fuse demons for specific roles. So id i have a buff/debuffer, attack spell user, healer, etc. As long as their decent at their specialty you’ll be fine. For demi-fiend just go for a physical build.

always lol

You don't have to avoid fusing pixie, but you do want to try to make sure that you don't sacrifice or let go the demon that they're fused into. In general, I can't really point to too many good demons to get since it kind of depends on where you're at. Demon leveling is very slow, and usually you will need to fuse to keep their levels up to date with the encounters. My party didn't have too many demons that I didn't eventually fuse into something else. There's a pretty huge roster of demons, and part of the fun is just playing around with them and experimenting.

Here are some notable demons that I can remember. There's a monkey demon holding a sword that you can get mid-game that can evolve into Wukong once they level enough. Iirc Wukong is phys immune, can learn focus, and can learn one of the best AOE phys attacks. Early on as someone else mentioned Ame no Uzume is good if you can manage to fuse her before fighting matador. It requires a bit of grinding to get to the level required to fuse her tho. Daisoujou can become a mainstay for a good chunk of the game due to good healing skills.

Try to focus on keeping your team diverse. Skills are generally more important than the actual demons. Having all or most elements covered to hit weakness is extremely helpful. Try to have all the various buffs and debuffs available for attack, defense, and agility. Aside from exploiting weakness, creating statistical advantages will get you through a majority of fights.

daisoujou is a good healer i think
he just appeared on my fusion chart and i have a demon with life bonus waiting to transfer over :O
