I thought it was general discussion but I see it's only about Megaman (never played them, I probably should put one of them in my backlog).
I've immediately thought of games like Toukiden, you dash around but you always have to keep an eye on your stamina.

I have, but only through the intro stage. But I'm pretty sure Bass still has the slide in that game.

@YoshifreakZX you are right, Bass have the dash. In fact, he retains all of his abilities from Mega Man & Bass
