Gamers: It's horrible that companies let their old games rot on legacy systems, why don't they make everything available on newer consoles

Problem is: Skyrim has being ported to every modern console generation since its launch and is easily accessible on PC without the need of going through many hoops to run it while some games are trapped forever on their original hardware or have to spend hours to make them run on a modern PC.

Yes, it is just plain greed

That would require actual effort from the developer & listening to the fanbase you see.

Edit: Well they did remaster Oblivion but.. still not a solid release by any means, and I Love Oblivion for 360, so whatever i guess.

You have a point, but I think OpenMW is more or less the perfect way to make Morrowind truly timeless, so I personally don't mind it.

After breaking the leveling system to make ourselves into gods (like always) or playing it normally ?

Thats one major gripe i had with Morrowind . I would rather have the Daggerfall-gameplay with all its cool ideas and approaches than Morrowinds "mix and drink potions into godhood"-gameplay .

Once you tasted the powers of a god , its hard to live like a normal PC .

I think that's one of its main strengths, being able to soup yourself up ridiculously if you have the know-how. I've actually never tried making a character giga powerful like that though, but on my main save I have maxed out Long Blade and rocking the Chrysamere so it feels like I still melt most dudes in my path.

Next playthrough is definitely a wizard type though so I'm looking forward to becoming a god on that one.

They should just make another story expansion at this point since Elder Scrolls 6 is stuck in development hell for the foreseeable future.Without mod support, there's very little reason to revisit this game outside of prettier graphics I suppose. Skyrim has not aged gracefully.

I heard this will run at 30fps. On Switch 2. And before you start with the usual "xd nintendo hardware weak and bad": my older laptop can run this "shit" (still a good one) at 60fps in mid-high quality.
Did they really focused on graphics rather than performance on a game like this?
