I absolutely loved playing Skitchin' when it released back then. Its too bad that it didn't get any sequels like its bigger brother, Road Rash.

If they could remake it with the same style & pizzazz that the original had, I would love to see more character sprites, different cars & vehicles on the road, newer locations, newer weapons (but keep all the old ones too), & have various NPC characters perform differently & respond according to your actions (maybe even have NPC skitchers have dynamics with other NPC skitchers where they hate them or tend to get along with each other).

Looks like peak 90's games. On par with California games, dirt bike racing on the NES, Carmageddon, and other similar games.

edit: Actually thinking about it, this would do REALLY good if it were SegaCD with a kick ass soundtrack!

I've played it once and it's fine for a Street Skater Shoes Racing game although it is not so simple because the opponents in the game are competitive and you even know the possibilities and ways to gain speed beyond staying on the back of a car but with the Geared Up Edition it introduces more features for the game such as the possibility of saving the game, the Genesis 6-button controller support and other features as shown in the game description so it serves as a new way to Replay and at the same time Revisit this game.

Gonna play this listening to some Dead Kennedies maybe some Leftover Crack
