As you all probably noticed, Ozzy Osbourne has left us but what remains is his music, so let's have a farewell concert and post music from him that you liked here.
🤘Thank you king of darkness for everything🤘

I listened to a few of his songs on YouTube the other day when I read that he passed, such as Crazy Train, I Don't Wanna Stop, Let Me Hear You Scream, Black Rain, Flying High Again, Shot in the Dark and Bark at the Moon.

Ozzy was more my parents generation but it was played often enough that I know some of his classics. I personally never really listened to him. But those videos of his final tour & seeing him struggle on the throne & pushing through with willpower alone? Wow, what a guy.

I was sooo sure Crazy Train was actually a song in Elite Beat Agents, which is why it's the one I remember the most... but I guess that was just me being overexposed to it lol.

i remember in the 80's my brother blasting "Bark at the Moon" cassette out of his shitty late 70's Oldsmobile... now im a chain smoker..

The day he passed, I spent the rest of the evening listening to a lot of his old classics, both with Black Sabbath and his solo recordings. "Mama I'm Coming Home" was particularly emotional, as also was "No More Tears". I listened to that song so much when I was a teenager, it hit me pretty hard. Sabbath is the basis and greatest influence to so much of the music that I love today, from the origins of heavy metal to the roots of the doom metal subgenre, and so much more.

So long, Prince of Darkness, may you be kicking ass in Hell alongside Lemmy, Dio and Randy Rhoads.

oh yeah, "Mama Im Coming Home" is great... i completely forgot about it, you awoken a memory..

If you haven't already, check out this great tribute cover of Mr Crowley by Jack Black et al uploaded to Ozzy's channel shortly before his passing:

(Tom Morello's son knocking it out of the park, too)

I'd been watching clips of Ozzy's farewell tour (check that out, too, if you haven't already) and a few biopics before he passed so it was surreal but also felt like he went out on an amazing note that he was surely proud of. Waiting for him to rise from the grave for his encore like he promised. Until then, RIP sweet dark prince.

I just read that fans want Chipotle to create a burrito in honor of Ozzy Osbourne. Really? A fucking  burrito? Because that's what the grieving fans crave? Personally I find it insulting. How dare the death of a beloved musician of our time be met with fans' insatiable hunger for burritos. What the fuck they gonna call it? The Osburrito? The Burrito of Darkness? Shall it only be eaten on the Sabbath?

more my parents gen but i still like to listen to some black sabbath from time to time, definitvely influenced a lot of people in the metal genre.
