Is there a way to show the fps counter while playing PS1 games? I tried plugins like cwcheat & PSP Hud they only work for PSP games.
Vita, not PPSSPP.So says Google
- Open the PPSSPP emulator.
- Navigate to the main menu and select Settings.
- Click on the User Interface tab in the Settings menu.
- Scroll down to the Notifications section.
- Enable the toggle next to Display Framerate to turn the counter on.
- Go to the Graphics tab in the settings menu.
- Ensure that Fullscreen is selected and not just a windowed mode, as this can affect the overlay display.
Well to be fair, you never stated Vita. I saw PS1, and you mentioned PSP plugins, so I assumed.Vita, not PPSSPP.

It's a retro game forum, asking questions is pretty normal. Maybe even find out new information that isn't on google. Never know who's hanging out with new knowledgeActually no I didn't. I was about half asleep when I first posted it. Apologies.
And can people Seriously not Use Google?
To show a framerate counter while playing PS1 games on a PS Vita, a custom plugin is required, such as Framecounter Vita.
Installation and Usage:
Code
- Download the plugin: Obtain the Framecounter.suprx file.
- Transfer the plugin: Copy the .suprx file to the ux0:tai/ or ur0:tai/ folder on your PS Vita (depending on where your tai folder is located).
- Edit config.txt: Open the config.txt file located in the same tai folder.
- Add the following line under the *ALL section (to enable the plugin for all games) or under the specific game's *TITLEID section (for a particular game):
ux0:tai/Framecounter.suprx</span>
(Replace ux0 with ur0 if you placed the plugin in the ur0:tai/ folder.)
This plugin will display an FPS counter on the top left side of your screen while playing PS1 games through Adrenaline on your PS Vita.
- Reboot: Restart your PS Vita for the changes to take effect.
- Toggle FPS display: During gameplay, hold the Start button for approximately 3 seconds to enable or disable the framerate counter display.
Do you have proof that it works?Actually no I didn't. I was about half asleep when I first posted it. Apologies.

So you just wasted my time, thanks. Not so much since I said I googled it.
And I'm not breaking out my Vita since I would have to re-jailbreak it and try it.
I gave you an answer. Use it or don't.
