Should I watch the DBZ Buu saga through Kai the final chapters ?

I've seen it has some downgrades such as being cropped in 16:9 (although most sites have Z cropped in 16:9 aswell), having a green tint filter and its latino dub having a shitty translation that was also using the funimation script as a base, despise most of Z's dub actors coming back for it. But in the other hand it's part of Kai which is a version of Z with WAY less filler

That’s what I would add too! Regardless of Z or Kai, JP is preferable.

For those that have seen both Z and Kai, did Kai remove anything that you felt should have been left as it was, either because it was interesting or good for character development?

If it's the Japanese version with subtitles, I'd say Kai. If it's any other version... Z is better.

there's a part in the anime, early in the saiyan saga, in gohan's training, where gohan meets orphaned children and goes through some interesting character development. i don't think that's in kai, or at least not in most versions.

Edit: Unrelated, but in the Latin American dubbing, one of those children has a voice actor who later, in the Buu saga, returns in the role of child Trunks.
