People lately do recommend me to have a game tracking because I played a lot of games and I need to track what I finished
The reason I ask do they also list some obscure Japanese games I played a lot of this in Famicom ( I don't have nes but I have the Famicom I grew up on Japanese version) and is quite of pain if I do the list because I lost count how many games did I play

Should I use if yes what are recommend and easy use game tracking website.

It seems like a pretty good idea to use a game tracking service, especially when you easily forget what you've played. I've never used anything like that, so I can't recommend any sites like that. I hope other users can recommend a good one.

suggest HLTB they allow for plenty of customization, already has a large database of game titles, and easy access to add missing ones. I use it to keep track of my progress of finishing games.

why not Retro Achievements?
or is this offline?

Well if you like it, then why not.

They are free, so I dont think you lose anything by giving it a chance. Sometimes is cool, like when you watch an episode of an anime and you update your MAL.

If you cannot remember if you have already played a game, that sounds like it is time to replay it... or play it for the first time. Which ever the case may be.

Sites like that are very useful for keeping track of what stuff you find, try, beat or want, which is a need for the retro side if you are someone that hoard a lot of games. Those can also be used as a quick daily log of what things you play each day.

I use https://backloggd.com/ for its simplicity and ease of use, it has a very complete database that often includes unknown japan games and romhacks.

I drop them after a while but YMMV.

RA is pretty inconvenient to use, methinks. Not enough options and too many restrictions, like it’s stuck in the Middle Ages (perhaps that’s poetic)
