Help Should I play DK Jungle Beat with emulated Bongos, the GC pad or the Wii version?

An unusual game with unusual controls is unusual to emulate

Perhaps the Bongos being emulated with a pad would work better than the actual GC pad control scheme.

The clap can still be managed with Dolphin?

Or play the superior Wii version, though the GC version with a controller seems to work fine imo, you get used to flicking the stick auickly.
What makes the motion control better? I don't even know how it would play like.

It plays like a traditional game on the Wii, you use the nunchuck thumbstick to move DK and you press the A button to jump, only difference is you shake the wii remote and nunchuck to do the "clapping/bongo" special attacks, it works rather well, plus the Wii version has a few changes and refinements as well as a couple of extra levels.

GC version can be played fully with a GC controller, only difference is instead of holding a direction to move you flick the stick in that direction, is a bit unorthodox but you get used to it rather quickly.

I never had the bongos so Idk how those feel like, also unrelated but the Donkey Konga series can also be played with a GC controller, but keep in mind each region got completely different games, making it seven Donkey Konga games on opposed to most sites saying they are only 2 or 3, I think it's up for personal preference but I say stay away from the US versions, their song collection sucks, Japanese versions are my personal pick.

Go get the real bongos.
I'll drive.

It’s up to you. You either want to give your hands a workout, or your arms a workout. The Wii Version is a lot less noisy though. And has a little bit of extra content.

speaking of which there is a NES homebrew on the WII where you can play PUNCH-OUT with the DK Bongo's (i'm not making this up i tried it once)
On a side note, VBA emulator on Wii supports using the Wii remote to play games likw WarioWare Twisted and Yoshi Topsy Turvy kinda the way intended.

Nice! How do you do the side guards and behind one by the way? Clapping?

Can this work on Dolphin? I'd love to try.

mGBA should also add joy-con (or any bluetooth pad with gyro/accel) support.
