Ganpuru - Gunman's Proof.
It is a short yet sweet Zelda-style western about aliens, with a lot of items and powerups to discover and use and a fun, little adventure on the Super Famicom.

The original Dragon Quest I can beat in about 9 or so hours which is maybe 1-2 sittings during a weekend.

And while not the same thing I love doing the Boss Rush modes on Castlevania games just to kill some time, my favorite is doing Albus mode boss rush on Order of Ecclesiah.

Momodora: Reverie Under the Moonlight is barely 3 hours long and is my favorite 2D platformer if memory serves correct.
